KING MOB – the new British rock and roll super group announces new bassist and UK dates.
At the end of 2011 the brand new English beat combo, KING MOB released their knock-ou debut album ‘Force 9’. Now, as the new year develops, KING MOB are looking forward to working hard on the live circuit, with dates already scheduled for the UK and the rest of Europe and summer festival dates in the offing. As it’s going to be such a busy year for the group, they’ve parted company with bass player Glen Matlock due to his heavy commitments on other projects, and in his place have taken on the amazing, young Japanese bassist, Toshi Ogawa. The group first met Toshi in one of London’s vintage guitar shops and when the position of bass player became open he was their first and obvious choice. Lead singer Snips says “King Mob came to rock the joint and raise the dead. We will continue to do so in 2012”
KING MOB have announced the following UK dates with more dates to be officially announced
17th March - Tivoli Theater, Wimborne
28th March - 02 Academy Islington, London
