Performed live onstage by Michael John Ross and his six piece band - ‘The Seven Decades: Zebra Stripes, Flames & Killer Tops’ is a fascinating stage and multimedia performance telling the story of the ‘ Big Four ‘ electric guitars; the Telecaster, Stratocaster, Gibson Les Paul and the Gibson ES – 335 – the production uses the vintage instruments to play the music that made them famous; the music of blues legends such as Freddie King, Buddy Guy, Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Duane Allman are just some of the guitarists whose music features in the show. As well as Michael John Ross & his Bandthe show features a performance by guitarist Le Burn Maddox who takes us back tothe birth of the blues on a vintage resonator guitar. This is a unique chance to hear some of most rare and significant vintage guitars of the past 70 years doing what they do best…being played!
