TEXAS BLUES GUITAR LEGEND JIMMY VAUGHAN TALKS TO LIVE BLUES.INFO
Texas blues legend Jimmy Vaughan, guitarist & vocalist and founder of the seminal Texas Blues band the ‘Fabulous Thunderbirds’, and elder brother of Stevie Ray Vaughan, is releasing a follow up to last year’s ‘Blues Ballads and Favourites’, its called ‘More Blues Ballads and Favourites’ – recorded in the same vintage style that has proved so popular among blues and R&B fans. The album is already recommended by Live Blues.info as our record of the month and is out on 25th July. Live Blues.info had the privilege of linking up with Jimmy during his current US touring schedule. He talked to us about the new album, the sources of the songs and how they get what they call “the juke-box sound’. You can listen to the interview and hear what Jimmy, who has opened for Eric Clapton and the Rolling Stones. has to say. You can also hear something from this great new blues/R&B album.
