CHRIS FARLOWE IN CONCERT WITH THE NORMAN BEAKER BAND AT MUSIC PALACE CROUCH END
Chris Farlowe was already an established artist on the UK music scene by the time
he broke through to the national charts with the Jagger / Richards tune ‘Out of Time’
other classics followed including the definitive version of Mike D’Abo’s ‘Handbags and Gladrags’.
Since then Chris Farlowe’s performances have always maintained the same high level
of excellence. The gig featured here was recorded at the Music Palace in Crouch End
in December 2010. A full house saw a great show with Chris backed by the Norman Beaker Band
A stand-out on the evening was the saxophone of Kim Nishikawara who was outstanding
with a wonderful solo on the track Chris’s Blues.
